Goodbye Ruapotaka School

This is a reflection of when we welcomed Ruapotaka into our school.We welcomed them with a song.After that Ruapotaka principle said a speech to thank us for letting them into our school and she said that they were leaving.After that the band performed another song.After that the tongan group performed a dance to the song TEVITA LATAI MAUMI.And they got money from dancing from their mum.It was a cool day because we got the band to performe for them to go back to work.Here are some photo's of the day

The Three Bears SORT OF

This is a story about three bears who lived in a cottage and there was a mummy bear, a Daddy bear and a baby bear.They loved to go out and hunt fish.Daddy bear tasted the porridge but it was tooooo hot so they decided to go for a walk so it would cool down.Before they left there was a girl named goldilocks and she came to the three bears cottage.She didn't know it was the three bears porridge.She was so hungry so she at all of the porridges.Goldilocks went to sit on daddy's chair but it was to hard.She went to sit on mummy's chair but it was to soft.But when she tried to sit on baby bear's chair It broke because she was to heavy.This one is too small.She got tired so she went upstairs to so if they had any beds to sleep on.She went on daddy's one but it was to hard.She went one Mummy's one but it was to soft.And then she went on baby bears on and it was just right.So she went to sleep.The three bears came back only to find that all of there porridge was eaten and baby bear's chair was broken.They went upstairs to check there beads and they were only to find that a little girl was sleeping in baby bears bed.Goldilocks woke up and screamed.She ran and wacked Mummy bear and bumbed off daddy bear and ran away from daddy bear because he groud at her.

Dog On Log

Dog on log is and dog on log has to get presents and balloons to cat eats rats birthday.He gets frog for help.Then he gets Hog on bog.They get the party ready and then they forget one more thing.The ake for Cat eats rats.So dog on log runs to the shop buys the cake and then Cat is sleeping on hear chair but she says "Were did everyone go","SURPRISE!!" She got so scared that she flew up to the sky and they said "What The hell was that".They did'nt forget her birthday and she was happy

Kiwican Reflection

For kiwi can this morning we came down to the hall and sat down on the mat.Mr. M said that we will playn noodle soccer for the energizer.The other team won.After that we had to choose our team so we can write about responsibilities.I wrote down road patrols, Values, Help people and Participating in sport events.After that we had to make a kiwi can chant and ms kelly said that our chant was the best because it was the only one.After that we done our old chant and left.

Kiwisport (Basketball)

For kiwisport we were playing basketball and we learned some drills like dribbling and dribbling on the side and change hands but we had to use our finger tips.After that we had to choose a partner to do different passes with.First we done chest pass, overhead and baseball throw.After that we played who ever can get 15 points before the other team.It was girls vs BOYZ.Here are some photos

Communicating with Symbols

Today i read about a book that's based on communicating with symbol.It's trying to say you can communicate with every single symbol because it represents something.You can use sign language to communicate with others who have problems hearing.You can tell people what the road is going to be like for example a curve symbol, no trespassing,Restricted areas and a stop sign.Signs guide you and help you when your lost because it'll say how many kmph you can go on the motor-way and telss you were you've been and where you're going.Also if there is a school crossing then there'll be a sign because sings guide you to good and bad places.But there is a choice because people might of turned it around and you might end up lost
